- Lebara Mobile lets you call, text and surf the internet both in the Netherlands and abroad.
Activating a SIM
Free SIM, no call credit
- Insert the SIM card in your mobile device.
- Call toll-free number 1244 to activate your SIM card. You are asked to select a language. The available options are Dutch, English or Polish.
- You can call toll-free number 1244 to top up your call credit. Buy a call credit voucher and select option 2. Enter the 14-digit activation code and end with #. The value of the Lebara Mobile call credit voucher is added to your call credit automatically.
- You can now call using your Lebara Mobile SIM card.

- Insert the SIM card in your mobile device.
- Call toll-free number 1244 to activate your SIM card. You are asked to select a language. The available options are Dutch, English or Polish.
- Your SIM card already has call credit, which you will be able to use within 10 minutes of activating your SIM card. You can now call using your Lebara Mobile SIM card.
Keep Your Number
Free Number Porting
You can take your existing mobile telephone number to Lebara. This is called Number Porting and it's a free service offered by Lebara.
Please note: in order to use number porting, your Lebara SIM card has to be activated!
This is how it works
You can submit your number porting request online. In the online form you are requested to enter the old and new mobile number and corresponding SIM-numbers. The SIM-numbers are printed on the back of the SIM-card.
If you have a postpaid contract your network provider will observe a notice period of one month. Have you already canceled your post paid contract? Fill out the contract end date as your desired porting date. If the number is ported before the contract expires, cancellation charges might be involved. Please contact your current network provider if you have any questions.
Number Porting Conditions
You cannot transfer any additional numbers for voice and fax mail to Lebara Mobile. From the moment that the request is submitted, you are not permitted to transfer the SIM card (on which the number to transfer is active) to another person. If you called previously using Prepay then your Prepay balance with your former mobile telecom provider will be cancelled. Number porting is subject to the General Terms and Conditions of Lebara mobile. Lebara Mobile is not liable for direct or indirect losses caused if the telephone number is not transferred on time. You can cancel the Number Porting procedure by calling 0900-4321 321 within 2 working days after sending in the request form.
Attention!
It you want to transfer your existing mobile number you CAN NOT be called at the Lebara Family tariff. You can call others at the Lebara Family tariff.
